Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the rental arrangements for vehicles (“Vehicles”) facilitated by Private Hire Rental Cars (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to you (“you” or the “Renter”). These Terms apply universally to all Vehicles, encompassing Private Hire Vehicles (PHVs) licensed in London (“PCO Cars”), Wolverhampton plated cars (“Wolverhampton Cars”), and standard rental cars (“Rental Cars”).
Eligibility and Requirements: To secure a Vehicle rental, you must meet the following criteria:
Be a minimum of 23 years old. Hold a valid full driver’s license for a duration of at least 3 years. Satisfy any additional licensing prerequisites for PCO Cars or Wolverhampton Cars, as applicable. Present a valid form of identification (passport or driving license). Additionally, you must furnish evidence of valid personal vehicle insurance that meets the legal prerequisites for vehicle operation in the United Kingdom. This insurance must cover the type of Vehicle being rented and the entire duration of the rental period.
Reservations and Booking: Vehicle reservations can be completed online, via phone, or in person. Complete payment details (excluding the security deposit) are mandatory at the time of booking. We reserve the right to annul your reservation if payment is not received or if you fail to meet eligibility criteria, including providing proof of valid personal vehicle insurance.
Vehicle Selection and Availability: While we strive to accommodate your specific Vehicle requests, we retain the right to substitute a similar Vehicle of equal or superior value if your requested Vehicle is unavailable. We shall not be held accountable for any delays or disruptions caused by the unavailability of a particular Vehicle.
Rental Period and Rates: Rental rates fluctuate based on the Vehicle type, duration of rental, and chosen package. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates are on offer. Additional charges may be applicable for services such as one-way rentals, additional drivers, and low-mileage usage. Upon vehicle pick-up, a security deposit will be authorized on your credit card. This deposit will be refunded upon the return of the vehicle, subject to any charges for damages incurred.
Insurance (Please Review Thoroughly): We do not furnish any insurance coverage for the Vehicles. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you possess valid personal vehicle insurance that meets the minimum legal prerequisites and covers the type of Vehicle being rented for the entire rental period. We advise consulting with your insurance provider to verify coverage for rental vehicles.
Vehicle Usage: You are accountable for the safe operation of the Vehicle and for any damages sustained during the rental period. Vehicles are to be utilized solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with all traffic regulations. Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited within all Vehicles. You are liable for any fines, parking tickets, or tolls incurred during the rental duration.
Vehicle Condition and Return: You are responsible for returning the Vehicle in the same condition it was received, with a full fuel tank and a clean interior. We will inspect the Vehicle upon its return and levy charges for any missing items, damages beyond normal wear and tear, or excessive cleaning required.
Breakdown and Assistance: Roadside assistance is available for all Vehicles, with specific program details provided at the time of rental. You are responsible for any costs associated with breakdowns resulting from driver negligence and any damages not covered by your personal insurance policy.
Termination and Early Return: We retain the right to terminate your rental agreement and reclaim the Vehicle if you contravene any of these Terms, including failure to provide proof of valid personal vehicle insurance. No reimbursements will be issued for early returns unless due to mechanical breakdown of the Vehicle.
Disclaimer of Liability: We shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to your belongings or to any third party arising from the use of the Vehicle, unless it can be directly attributed to Private Hire Cars Rental’s fault.
Dispute Resolution: Disputes arising from these Terms will be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Modifications: We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time without prior notification.

Additional Terms for PCO Cars: You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all PCO Licence requirements and Transport for London (TfL) regulations pertaining to operating a PCO Car. We bear no responsibility for any fines or penalties incurred due to non-compliance with TfL regulations.
Additional Terms for Wolverhampton Cars: You are accountable for familiarizing yourself with any specific regulations applicable to Wolverhampton Cars.
Force Majeure: We shall not be held liable for any delays, cancellations, or disruptions to your rental caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, severe weather conditions, strikes, or civil unrest.
By renting a Vehicle from Private Hire Cars Rental, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all of the Terms and Conditions set forth in this agreement.
